We attended the world premiere of "Peter Pan" in London and I am pleased to announce that the film is beautiful lenses, perfectly cast, and loudly with the original concepts of Barrie's growth and the loss of a bittersweet beauty of life .
Young and old, this is definitely a must-see movie. Children can enjoy the narrative of this adventure / fantasy scale, while adults are deeply touched by the sentiments behind Barrie's classic story.
While watching the film that was taken by the memory of being a kid again. All the wonder and pure joy of it. I felt this feeling, as I did several years ago, after having reached this point in my life just at the dawn of adolescence, when I realized I had something more in life to play and textbooks. It was fascinating and frightening.
PJ Hogan has done a fantastic job of reporting these truths adult emotional and childish delight. The script balances the themes with a touch of magic, adherring Barrie works fairly faithful (literally at times), while the bags full of humor and wisdom. It's not a stupid film should be seen as a pure spectacle. The dialogue will make you laugh and think, and certainly felt.
And thank you for this excellent cast. You must admire the producers and casting directors, talent and suitability for the role of Hollywood stars. Rachel Hurd-Wood, his first performance in dealing with Wendy is struggling with emotional cuts veteran. It 'a blooming youth and beauty of the edge of one of his high hopes once again. Jeremy Sumpter, last year's excellent "Fraility," is definitely Peter Pan. Arrogant, self-centered and some adventure. Continue demanding action very well, and although from time to time in his American accent is a bit 'awkward, Peter manages to capture the uncertainty of his choice to remain forever young, and therefore left behind.
And then, is the leading man in disguise, Jason Isaacs. In a word, brillaint. And a beautiful view of the demanding and complex double role of Mr. Darling and dorky dangerous Captain Hook's beautiful. Thus, the polar aspect of these descriptions, that if you do not understand the tradition of Barrie cast the same actor in both roles, you may not recognize it. Darling and his hooks are deeply connected to but divergent roles, and Isaacs, never give in to the field, or ham acting. Its excellent performance in an intelligent and charming charisma, and his embues all the genuine sex appeal and manly. Her leading man looks and talented player, one wonders why there is still a big star.
Visually, the film is exquisite to behold. One of the best films of just "look" that the viewer has not seen. The whole screen is full of vibrant colors and a meticulously detailed history to date provides attractive. All production values are first rate and belie the huge budget.
As for special effects, it is difficult to say where the work of over waterfalls and traditional games and visual effects after taking over. This film is a very complicated effort that sometimes drew attention too to themselves to be distracted by the story itself. Less would have been more in some places, especially in the last game.
James Newton Howard score is the magic and the improvement of the story without overwhelming. I was humming the air since last week. Costumes Patterson is the place-in and imaginative, without affecting the nature of the most iconic characters.
This story is a classic icon and after all, for the first time the public can really enjoy fairy Barrie witnesses and deep and rich as he wished. Watch the movie, you will discover many lost and found now. Children will love!
